The World Cup is a carnival of football and we've got a carnival of poker to match it!
One player will be crowned King at the end of our 25 day tournament - a tournament to rival the World Cup tournament itself! Every day at Circus Poker you'll find more tournaments, more prize money and more poker action than ever!
Finish in the money in any of the Circus Poker scheduled World Cup poker tournaments and you'll earn points on our World Cup Carnival leaderboard. So not only will you have earned cash you can bank from your tournament earnings, there'll be an extra £2,000 to win if you're crowned King of the Carnival by topping our leaderboard. We're feeling so generous that we'll even top this up to five grand if England are crowned World Champions.
Our exclusive World Cup tournaments
Multi-table tournament
- £20+£2 buy-in every matchday at 8pm (UK time).
- If you finish in the top 10, not only will you win money according to our usual prize structure, you'll also get points on the World Cup Carnival leaderboard. 10 points awarded to the winner, down to 1 point for the player finishing 10th.
- Each tournament will have a bounty - knock them out and you could win £10 for every goal scored in that night's big game plus 10 leaderboard points!
5-a-side match tournament
- The five-seater SNGs are just £6.80+50p buy-in with a seat token to the main tournament on offer to the champion.
Penalty Shootout heads-up tournaments
- Play in our Penalty Shootout heads-up tournaments and for the buy-in of just £11+£1, you could win a seat at the main tournament.
When the World Cup tournament reaches the knock-out stages, we'll DOUBLE all leaderboard points - so even if you've not started off so well, there's still every chance for you to climb up that leaderboard and come in at the last minute!

Leaderboard Prizepool
The total prizepool for our overall leaderboard depends on where England finish in the World Cup Tournament. Take a look at the total prizepools:
- If England win the World Cup, we'll give away a whopping £5,000.
- If they get into the World Cup Final, we'll give our leaders a total of £4,000.
- If they get as far as the Semi Finals, we'll give away £3,000.
- Otherwise, we'll give away a total of £2,000 to our top 10 leaders.

Terms and conditions
- Circus Poker World Cup Carnival tournaments take place during the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa
- Waldorf1 is the bounty player and is permitted to win money, therefore he’ll be playing properly, so watch out.
- The bounty on Waldorf1’s head is multiplied by the number of goals scored in the big games (as listed above) that evening. Goals by England count double. Own goals count. Penalty shoot-out goals do not count.
- In the event of the bounty being knocked out in a hand with more than one player, the winner of the hand will win the bounty.
- In the event of the bounty being knocked out by two or more players who have the same hand, the winner of the bounty will be the player who started the hand with the most chips.
- In the event of Waldorf1 winning the tournament, the bounty will roll over to the following tournament
