What are the deposit methods accepted?
There are several deposit methods available to customers including, Credit/Debit card deposits, Moneybookers, Neteller, Bank Transfer, Click2Pay, Click and Buy and Ukash. Players may also deposit using Cash In Cash out, read all about it here .
How do I get the extra 2,000 chips?
Either qualify online, rather than buy in online, or ensure you rake at least £5.00 between 00:00:00 01/07/11 and 23:59:59 23/09/11 (uk time). You can see your progress daily on our Genting Poker Players Championship – race to 2k page.
What if I only register for the Genting Poker Players Championship at the last minute? Will I get the extra 2,000 chips?
Provided you have raked £5.00 during the promotional period, it doesn’t matter whether you buy in to the Players Championship before, during or after the promotional period, you will still get the extra 2,000 chips.
What is the maximum number of chips any player is going to start with?
10,000. 8,000 is the minimum starting stack.
Can I buy in on the day or with cash at Circus Casino, Star City or other Genting Casinos in the UK?
No. The only way to play is to buy in or qualify via Genting Poker, Poker Encore, Circus Poker or ATR Poker Club. Registration closes at 23:59:59 on Friday 16th September 2011, or as soon as the 500 player cap is reached.
Are seats transferable?
Sorry, we can’t accept a transfer of seats, only the account holder will be allowed to play in the Genting Poker Players Championship.
Should I bring ID?
Yes please, so that we can identify you in the event of player identity issues. Ideal forms of ID include Passport, Driving Licence, Govt ID.
Where will I be sitting?
We will do the seating draw before the event starts. Our aim is to complete the seating draw by 10am on Saturday 24th September 2011, then we will post the draw up on the forums and on GentingPoker.com. Be aware that in the event of two related players (husband and wife, brother and sister etc) being seated together in the seat draw, we will manually move them before play commences. Accommodations will be made for players with special physical needs.
Is the tournament wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the whole of Circus Casino Star City is wheel chair accessible.
Will dinner be provided free of charge to poker players?
No, we are giving players a 45 minute dinner break, but we are not providing a free dinner. We believe the added value of £10,000 into the prize fund, the Palm Beach Big Game seat package and all of the other elements we are adding to is enough value for money for one weekend! There are lots of places within 2 minutes walk of the casino to get food, including Subway, McDonalds and KFC. We will also be serving valet food throughout the tournament and for players with more time on their hands, have a good restaurant within the casino. There are also a number of restaurants within the Star City complex.
What is the prize pool?
If the tournament sells out, the total prize pool will be £85,000, comprised of £75,000 of player entries, plus £10,000 added prize pool. Plus there is at least £1500 further added in the shape of a Palm Beach Big Game Seat Package for the Champion.
How will the prize money be paid out?
All prize money will be paid back into the winners’ online poker account, any exchange rate calculations required (for players who buy in with USD or EUR accounts) will be calculated as per www.xe.com published rates at 09:00 Monday 26th September 2011 (uk time).
