Single Table Tournaments

These are tournaments with just 1 table, they are fast and fun just like your regular home game!

Simply select the Single Table Tournament tab in the lobby, choose an open table and enter the tournament. You can change your mind and leave at any point prior to the start of the tournament. If you do this your buy-in and fee will be automatically refunded to your account.

There are single table tournaments for two (heads up), six or nine players. The 3 different speed levels (normal, speed, turbo) can apply to single table tournaments. Single table tournaments can also be satellites to larger events where the prize for winning is not cash but a place in a bigger buy-in event.

For heads up tournaments the winner takes all, for six player tournaments the winner and runner up are paid, for nine player events, the top three places are paid.

Multi Table Tournaments

Our multi table tournaments give you the chance to play against many more players than in a single table tournament. The more players in the tournament, the higher the prize fund will be. To sign up for a multi table tournament simply click on the Multi Table Tournament tab in the lobby. The start times of the tournaments are shown alongside the name of the tournament. You can unregister and be refunded your buy-in and fee at any time prior to the start of the tournament.

The prize structure for multi table tournaments varies based on the number of players who have entered. For some of our regular weekly events, it is not uncommon for over 40 players to be paid out!

Seating at multi table tournaments is allocated randomly and players are automatically moved to new tables as players are eliminated. Eventually there will be only nine players left and they will be moved to one, final table. As they take longer to complete than single table tournaments, multi table events have an hourly five minute break where play pauses.

Freeroll Tournaments

Freeroll tournaments are exactly the same as other tournaments, but instead of pay cash to enter, you will use your Circus Points accumulated to enter. Even though you will use Circus Points to enter, so entry is basically free, these events usually have substantial cash prize pools.

Satellite Tournaments

CircusPoker also offers single table tournaments that offer as the first prize seats in larger multi table tournament final events, these satellites are a great way to qualify for serious events, without having to shell out a large entry fee. Don’t forget that of the last four winners of the WSOP two qualified via online satellites! We also offer some multi table satellite tournaments.

Grand Final for a much smaller cost than the usual cost of a seat.

Re-buy & Add on Tournaments

A re-buy tournament allows a player to purchase additional chips during a preset time period if the player has lost all chips or the chip count falls below their starting level. Usually the rebuy rounds are the first four levels of an event, but for speed events it is extended to six levels.

Usually the fee and the number of chips available as a re-buy is the same as the starting amount of chips, to purchase a re-buy simply click the “$”sign which will appear on the table when a re-buy is permitted.

Re-buy tournaments usually come with an add on option at the end of the last re-buy round, regardless of the number of chips a player holds.

There is only a short period of time to purchase a re-buy, please make sure you have sufficient funds in your account well before the re-buy time so that you don’t miss out.
