www.CircusPoker.co.uk is sponsoring up-and-coming poker talent, Daiva Barauskaite, to play in the £100k ‘Second Chance’ poker classic tournament and she’ll be exclusively blogging about her experiences right here.
Preparation
So my preparation for the 100k second chance tournament at the start of November is well underway. I’m hoping for plenty of poker practice (never a hardship), hopefully hitting form at the right time and making some money along the way against my fellow www.CircusPoker.co.uk players.
Just as important however is to submerse myself in the plethora of poker advice online. From the snippets by Waldorf1 on here, to the invaluable blogs of pro’s who talk through not only how they played hands, but the rationale behind the bets in these hands.
I’m a firm advocate of the maxim that it takes a moment to learn and a lifetime to master poker, and playing alone is not enough. Putting the work in on learning as much as possible from some of the best players out there can only be of further benefit... plus who’s to say I might not be sat opposite the likes of Mark Goodwin in a week’s time at Star City watching them make these plays!

when you going to be playing in thw WSOP Daiva? Or have you alreay had a punt at that?
