Craps
Any fans of the popular musical Guys and Dolls will already know all about of Craps – and if not, you have a treat awaiting you! Craps is a game invented on the streets, as all you need to play are a pair of dice and a wall.
Craps is an entertaining and intense table game that is also very player friendly, with lots of options, strategies and winning opportunities.
How to Play
Craps is a game played by one or more players against the casino. Players take turns as the Shooter, rolling two dice. Other players at the table will make bets on the shooter's dice rolls.
How to Win
The basic aim of Craps is to bet on what score the Shooter (the person in charge of the dice) will roll on any given turn.
The first roll in Craps is called the come out roll. If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then the point is established, while a total of 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 on the come out roll immediately ends the round. When the point has been established, a pointer will be placed, indicating that point. After the point is rolled, the dice will be rolled continuously until the same point is rolled again, or a 7 is rolled.
The basic bets are Pass Line and Don’t Pass Line bets. You win the pass line bet if the point is rolled before a 7. You lose the pass line bet if a 7 is rolled before the point. In a don’t pass line bet, you are betting that a 7 will be rolled before the point. You win on the come out roll with craps (2 or 3), and on any other roll with a 7. If the come out roll is a 12, a don’t pass line bet is returned to you in a push. You lose on the come out roll if it is either a 7 or an 11, and on any other roll if it is the point.
There are any number of other bets in Craps, each with different rules and different pay-outs.
