
London rocks to the sound of WSOPE

The fifth and final event of the fourth annual World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) – the celebrated £10,350 buy-in championship main event – kicks off on Thursday 23rd September in London, with more than 300 players from across the world expected to battle it out over six days to win the top prize of some £750,000 from a total prize pool of more than £3m.
Previous winners of the WSOPE main event include inaugural winner Annette Obrestad who at just 18 years old is the youngest gold bracelet winner ever whilst U.S pro John Juanda won the longest finale in the 41-year history of the WSOP - 19 hours and 10 minutes.
ESPN3.com, ESPN’s 24/7 sports broadband network, will stream the event in the U.S, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and Brazil will stream the last two days of the event and television broadcasts are scheduled in the coming months
