A leading UK bookmaker looks set to miss its predictions on e-gaming profits as it faces increasing competition from all sides.
Ladbrokes has been hit by online competitors, other rivals in the sports betting market, and the worsening economic climate.
The Financial Times reports the firm recorded an 82 per cent fall in e-gaming in the first four months of 2009, plus a slide in growth for machines in shops and weakness in its Irish interests.
Ladbrokes revealed the details in a report earlier this month, according to the paper.
