Player registration fees from the event will be donated to the hospice, and players are playing for the prize pool.
Winners of each of the six tournaments will compete in a grand final six-seater single table event, and the eventual winner will get a seat at the £100,000 GUKPT Champion of Champions tournament.
The Grosvenor has just gone to 24 hour opening and the event also sees the opening of a new VIP poker room, with table charges for these games being donated to the charity.
