A London casino is hoping to raise money in aid of a good cause with a 24-hour poker tournament.

The Grosvenor Victoria London announced the poker marathon for Saint John's Hospice and said it will see a tournament starting every four hours on Thursday, May 7 until Friday, May 8.

Poker Channel Europe published a schedule for the event, which runs as follows;

Thursday May 7

Friday May 8
12am - £100 + £20 NL Hold'em Freezeout
4am - £50 + £10 NL Hold'em Freezeout
8am - £50 + £10 NL Hold'em Freezeout
12pm - £50 + £10 NL Hold'em Freezeout
4pm - £100 + £20 NL Hold'em Freezeout

Player registration fees from the event will be donated to the hospice, and players are playing for the prize pool.

Winners of each of the six tournaments will compete in a grand final six-seater single table event, and the eventual winner will get a seat at the £100,000 GUKPT Champion of Champions tournament.

The Grosvenor has just gone to 24 hour opening and the event also sees the opening of a new VIP poker room, with table charges for these games being donated to the charity.
