Macau enjoys growth

In China, there is just one place where casino gambling is legal, and Macau is enjoying the rewards of its exclusive status, with a growth level that is threatening the success of other more traditional gaming places around the world.
Las Vegas has traditionally held the accolade of being the number one place in the world to gamble, due to the mystique and the legendary people that were involved in its growth.
However, Macau now has a string reputation as a world class gambling venue, and this reputation is growing with a lot of money being invested in the industry.
Macau as a gambling venue has seen a large increase in revenue when the figures are compared with those derived form 2009 reports.
Figures that were recently released to the public state that Macau enjoyed a 69.4% increase in revenue in 2009.
Figures for 2010 so far show that in February of this year casinos in Macau contributed to an overall gambling growth figure of over $1.68 billion dollars.
Recently, the restrictive paperwork that prevented some people from gambling in China has been relaxed as regards Macau, which may have contributed to its success.
Online gambling is enjoying a similar level of growth, with players now having multiple options as to where they gamble on any given night.
