World famous online poker player Isildur1 has just recently suffered a considerable loss in an online poker spree.

The renowned poker player managed to lose nearly $2 million in one day’s play, a huge loss that meant he lost heavily against some of the online poker community’s top players.

For three weeks, the player has been having some good sessions and has taken some strong titles and placings, but all this ended yesterday when he lost close to $2 million.

The Swede, who has remained highly secretive while becoming a legend in online poker, sat for over 9,000 hands, and lost the final large amount to Phil Galfond, who consequently made $1.9 million from the encounter.

The session in which Isildur1 and Phil Galfond ended lasted for over 2,000 hands.

There were many players involved in the day other than Isildur1 and Galfond, with Tom Dwan showing up to play too.

He managed to drain some of Isildur1’s resources also, taking over $1 million by the end of the day.

Isildur1 has suffered defeats before, but this defeat is particularly heavy.

However, he has staged comebacks in online poker before.
