'King of pop' Michael Jackson is planning to open a Thriller-themed casino in Las Vegas next year, according to reports.

Music-news.com said the 50-year old will launch a "zombie-themed" venue, and is also thought to be working on a new album, a number of films and a museum for memorabilia from his career.

According to the site, there could even be a world tour on the cards after his residency at the O2 arena in London finishes in March next year.

Music-news.com added sources say he is interested in any business scheme which can boost his finances.

The site said he is allegedly in debt to the tune of more than £100 million. He has faced being sued by a number of former associates and has also sold his famed Neverland Ranch in the US.

It is thought his 'This is It' concerts at the O2 in London could net him close to £100 million.
