Wynn Las Vegas, one of the biggest names in the Nevada city's gaming world, is facing a lawsuit from three dealers who said its tips sharing scheme goes against federal work laws.
Associated Press reported that the suits, filed in a district court on Thursday, say that a rule requiring dealers to share tips with supervisors meant the resort was essentially paying the dealers nothing.
A lawyer for the dealers said resort management took 15 per cent to 20 per cent of collected tips.
The news agency also reported Wynn Las Vegas has previously said it has the authority to distribute tips in this way.
The dealers have said that their tips were wrongfully put through a pooling system brought in by the resort three years ago.
In 2006 a lawsuit was filed in district court, but instead the Nevada Supreme Court referred the case to the Nevada labor commissioner - this case is still pending.
