The site also looked at the media buzz that surrounded the games, specifically whether or not the games were being discussed in the various media outlets that discussed online gambling.
Online Casino Reports also looked at the technical quality of the games, using this as a gauge of how well they were being received.
Their final criterion was the average size of the jackpot in the games that were looked at, with bigger jackpots meaning more popularity over time.
The top five games were Texas Holdem, Blackjack, Roulette, Slots and video Poker.
The have different versions spread around the Internet, but the basic engine and game play is the same, with players currently enjoying high quality graphics and high jackpots.
