Online roulette increasing in popularity among British women

A study carried out by a major website in the gaming industry has found that British women are turning to online roulette for their gambling enjoyment.

This has long been the case in the United States, where online roulette is a popular game for women, but the game has only recently taken off in Britain.

GamingSupermarket.com has found that there is a recognisable surge in the number of female online roulette players in the country, with bingo’s prominence in the market threatened.

David Merry, the editor for roulette information portal LiveRoulette.co.uk told Online Casino News: “We all knew the bingo boom would not last forever and, although I think it is far from over, I think the cracks are starting to show.

"Roulette provides women with the chance to win serious cash very quickly, so it is easy to see why they would be attracted."

GamingSupermarket.com concluded that although there were many examples of new online and TV based roulette games, it would be unlikely that the game would ever match online bingo's popularity.
