Dubai builds in Vegas, but not what you would expect

Dubai, which is currently at the risk of defaulting on its billion dollar debt, has just unveiled a new and spectacular development, which does not allow gambling of any kind.
The casino, located in Las Vegas, was created by Dubai World, which is a government-backed company.
The super hotel offers no gaming, no drinking and no smoking, which is obviously different to what the best in Las Vegas has to offer.
The room prices run at around £1,200 a night.
The Vdara hotel opened this week in the midst of a glitzy, Hollywood affair, with the famous actor Orlando Bloom in attendance.
The party was sponsored by the internationally renowned style focused magazine Vanity Fair, a magazine that is famed for its star-studded parties.
The hotel is part of a development that is co-financed by an American company, MGM Mirage, with the complex including 27 restaurants.
The complex also includes something that is more fitting to a world of money and luxury, an art collection that houses works that total $40 million in value.
It is hoped the new complex will prove to be a saviour for Dubai’s failing economy.
