Bookmaker William Hill has inked a deal with PaySafeCard to provide secure electronic payment services for its online products.

Online Casino Reports said the PaySafeCard option can now be used for William Hill's sportsbook, casino and online poker services, among others.

The Austrian-based electronic payment company runs a prepayment system allowing people to put down deposits securely at online casinos.

It runs a voucher system, allowing people to buy vouchers at more than 200,000 outlets.

Quoted by Online Casino Reports, the chief executive of PaySafeCard, David Hunter, said: "We are delighted to have WilliamHill.com as a partner. The cooperation is an important step for expansion in the UK and throughout Europe."

William Hill's online service is run in six different languages, 11 different currencies and has customers in more than 175 countries.

Bringing in the PaySafeCard option means players can use the online services without needing a credit card or submitting their credit card details online.

The deal is part of a momentous month for William Hill, which recently confirmed it was moving its online betting services from Britain to Gibraltar.
