Casino games to be based on MGM's movies

A number of casino-style games based on the films of Hollywood studio MGM are to appear after the company signed a deal with FremantleMedia.

The games will be based on movies such as Fame, Robocop and the Good the Bad and the Ugly, Television Business International reports.

The games, released through the FremantleMedia gaming division, will also include efforts based on TV series like Stargate.

The deal comes after the firm launched online games for television brands like the X Factor and the price is right for a number of casino firms.

The gaming division of FremantleMedia was set up in 2008.
