MicahJ, believed to be Micah Smith (23) from Florida, is an up and coming online poker professional. His recent form has seen him turn over a large amount since the start of 2010 - a very positive start to the year.
His current bankroll, derived from playing online gambling sites, has been seen to total nearly $600,000.
The player originally became involved in online poker as a teenager at college, where he played small stakes games and honed his craft.
He began this latest successful cash run by playing heads-up poker; however, he has shown talent in other games.
Online poker and other online gambling games and sites are currently very much under the spotlight. The UIGEA, which is to be scrutinised again soon, will focus on the possibility, if any, of regulating online casino games.
If the regulation happens, and the US government puts processes in place to manage the revenue that the online portals receive, then there will be a tremendous rise in the number of online gambling sites available.
