A popular game show that has participants playing roulette games in real time as its main feature is to be shown as part of ITV’s programming.
Roulette Nation has already enjoyed considerable success on satellite channels, and is now going to be shown on the terrestrial channel, with the expected time of broadcast to be midnight.
The show is also notable as being one of the first to be shown simultaneously online as well as on Sky1, which has allowed for play through a feed provided by the website.
The show is significant in that it has live presenters guiding players through games and offering commentary.
The controller of ITV, William Van Rest, told egamingreview: ‘Soft gaming products such as bingo are extremely popular amongst our audience and we look forward to introducing Roulette Nations range of innovative formats to our audience as part of this trial.’
Other providers are also moving into the live casino market, and online casino providers are doing particularly well in general, with many players appreciating the ease of use of the sites.
