Bosses at Coventry's Ricoh Arena have said they are confident the new owners of the facility's casino will make it a success.
Grosvenor Casinos, owned by Rank, has bought the Isle of Capri casino at the arena in a £650,000 deal.
The move comes after the original American owners had said they would close the casino unless a buyer could be found.
The deal means the facility will be turned into one of Grosvenor's 'G Casino' brands, saving over 100 jobs.
Quoted by the BBC, chief executive of the Ricoh Arena, Daniel Gidney, said the move would be good for the city and the arena, which is also home to Coventry City Football Club.
He said: "Rank is a recognised leader in the UK gaming market and I am sure it will make a success of what everyone accepts is an outstanding venue."
In February the original casino's American owners said they were selling the facility after declaring themselves unhappy with government gambling laws, less than two years after it originally opened.
