Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly opted to spend a bit of time off in a Manchester casino at the weekend, and was said to have been betting up to £1,000.
The Daily Mail says he went out for a flutter ahead of his team's loss to Everton in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley on Sunday.
Reports say he could be spotted in a VIP section during the Friday visit and it looks like his manager ended up taking just as much of a gamble on the pitch.
Alex Ferguson's side ended up being beaten on penalties by Everton after he put out a weakened team and did not select the Portuguese winger.
